The Government of Canton Sarajevo, the City of Sarajevo and the Municipality of Canton Sarajevo signed the Agreement on the Implementation of the EE Model, which defines and supports the citizens of the Canton of Sarajevo, under the favorable conditions, of their facilities. In this way, citizens receive subsidies of 45% of the costs of building utilities.

The Government of the Canton Sarajevo through the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of the Canton Sarajevo is the holder of the EE model implementation. For users / applicants it finances development of project documentation and energy audits, share in implementation of energy efficiency measures in the amount of 5%, and for users of rural municipalities of Canton Sarajevo 10%, finances solidarity fund, co-finances interest rate of 3% for EE users for financing implementation EE measures are taken from partner banks. In order to familiarize citizens with the benefits of EE, it finances citizen education and promotional campaigns.

The City of Sarajevo is obliged to co-finance 10% of the costs of implementing the extinguishing of buildings, for users from the territory of the 4 city municipalities.

Municipalities of Canton Sarajevo are obliged to co-finance 30% of the costs of implementing the extinguishing of facilities, for users from their territory
