Legislation on energy efficiency in BiH
By signing the Energy Community Treaty, as well as the Stabilization and Association Agreement, Bosnia and Herzegovina undertook to harmonize its own legislation with EU legislation and adopt European directives and standards in the field of energy. One of the conditions of the mentioned Agreement is the adoption of a legislative framework. The field of energy efficiency is regulated by the Law on Energy Efficiency of the Federation of BiH, adopted in April 2017 (Official Gazette FbiH 22/17.) The law takes over all the requirements of EU directives.
